# Children's Fable

> Old fairy tales, gently retold to teach children (6+) and older adults how to use Claude and AI safely and kindly. Accessible by design (theme picker, adjustable word size). WholeTech network. Built Agents First (https://agentsfirst.dev). Companion to https://fableguide.com.

## What this is
A short, illustrated lesson set. Plain language for kids and elders. Each lesson pairs a famous public-domain fable with a real-world AI-safety takeaway. Not affiliated with Anthropic. Always meant to be used alongside a trusted grown-up.

## Interactive features (on the homepage)
- Read-aloud narration of every fable and the rules ("Read to me" buttons; gentle warm voice, /audio/*.mp3) — for pre-readers and low-vision/older listeners.
- "Spot the Wolf" game: 8 randomized scenarios where the player decides Safe or Wolf, with feedback tied to the fables and rules. Earns a badge.
- Fable the Fox: a friendly mascot (a reformed wolf-cousin) who guides the reader.

## Key safety messages
- AI can be confidently wrong — verify important facts.
- Voices, faces, and messages can be faked (deepfakes/impersonation) — confirm who you're really talking to; tell a trusted grown-up.
- Keep private information private — never share passwords, address, school, money details.
- Voice-cloning scams target older adults — hang up and call the real person back on a known number.
- AI is a helper, not a replacement for your own thinking; be kind online.
